It's been a hot second since I've been on here. I meant to write about our amazing memorial day weekend up at the farm last weekend at some point while Olive napped, but then she never did. I then planned on recapping our memorial day weekend sometime over the course of this past week.... but then work got exceptionally crazy.
So I've given up on writing about memorial day - I'll tell you all about the farm in a month or so when we go back...
But today's adventures should make up for it. Because today Paul and I were fortunate enough to be surrounded by friends and family to find out the gender of our second baby!
On a side note, I made my best friend (the first person to find out this information via an envelope from my OB's office) tell my very good friend at work (who was also helping plan the event)... but when her roommate called my baby belly a "she" shortly after that in casual conversation, I instantly assumed what my gut was telling me, and have been in "girl mode" ever since.
Which meant that today's reveal was extra shocking... because.....
IT'S A BOY!
Paul, Olive and I are beyond thankful for the wonderful party today. It truly was such a loving and thoughtful event put together by some pretty amazing people.
Now I just need to get over the shock that we're actually welcoming a little man into our family in just one short month.
How's that for a Sunday Funday?
